We show her our passport and she issued us the Gold Coast Marathon Luggage Tag.
ITINERARY FOR THE FIRST DAY:
- Check in Airport on 28 June 2018 (Thursday) and reach Gold Coast the next day
29 June 2018 (Friday)
- Pacific Fair
- Gold Coast Conventions & Exhibition Centre
- Check in Watermark Hotel & Spa (The hotel is not bad.)
- Walk around and head to Surfer Paradise Beach (Omg beautiful sky!)
- Beachfront Markets
- Seafood Buffet at Waves Restaurant (Our hotel)
- Gold Coast Conventions & Exhibition Centre

Was pretty excited for this trip as this is my first time to Australia (ang mo country, Singlish translate).
Reach Gold Coast about *** and our tour guide waited for everyone at the Gold Coast Arrival Hall.

The tour guide told us to see our luggage tag that she issued to us at the Singapore Airport.
Yellow colour is Watermark Hotel. Blue colour is other hotel which I couldn't remember which one.
The first stop they alight us is Pacific Fair for breakfast and shopping (own expenses) for 1 or 2 hour plus.

WHERE TO BUY SIM CARD?
Bought Sim Card at OPTUS (the shop name) for Aud$10.
Next stop is Gold Coast Convention to collect out Race Bib.
HOW DO WE COLLECT OUR RACE PACK?
So basically they drop us at the convention and gave us like 1-2 hr free time to explore inside.
But before we head inside, there is a small counter outside the convention for us to collect our race bib.
They already collected for us.They will just distribute to us.

After collected the BIB and Drawstring bag, we head in to the convention.
I bought a tank top. (You can try the clothes there).

So after convention, they alight us at our Hotel, Watermark.
When we went in the hotel, there is white board in the main lobby that wrote the itinerary. (like what time is the breakfast and what time is the race start etc)
There will be a seafood dinner buffet at 7.00 pm.
The tour guide pass us our hotel cards and we headed to our hotel room. Totally love our room as our window view is directly facing Sky Observation. The G-link is directly outside our hotel (Surfer Paradise) which I feel it quite convenient.

After resting for like 10-15 min, we head outside and walk around.

It cheaper but I think got T&C. Buy the tickets at Klook better.
Went to the beach and damnnnn it was so beautiful! Omg for a moment I feel like staying at Gold Coast permanently. HAHA.

There is night market at Surfer Paradise area which is Surfer Paradise Beachfront Markets and only open on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday which was just right for us.

Didn't buy anything from there as nothing has caught our eyes. (But we didn't walk that much also).
After exploring around, we head back to our hotel for the seafood buffet dinner and rest.
